Fluid Recruitment was founded in 2006 by Jonny Cadden as a specialist technology and fintech search firm focused on emerging industries and high-growth startups.
Over the last two decades, Jonny has worked closely with founders, venture funds and frontier technology companies across fintech, crypto, quantitative finance, AI and deep technology.
In 2015, alongside building Fluid Recruitment, Jonny launched Manchester’s first global technology and venture capital summit with the ambition of positioning the city as an international hub for startups, investment and entrepreneurship.
Despite having no prior event experience, he raised venture backing from entrepreneur and investor Scott Fletcher and successfully delivered the inaugural festival in 2016.
The event brought together more than 2,000 delegates, 100 startups, global technology exhibitors, leading venture capital firms and major sponsors including KPMG, Virgin Media, Manchester United and ANS Group.
The summit was headlined by Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak and featured internationally recognised founders, investors and operators from across the global technology ecosystem. Jonny and the team also opened the London Stock Exchange during the event launch week.
Today, Jonny continues to work closely with a select group of AI, fintech, crypto and deep technology founders, helping them build founding teams, access strategic networks and scale globally.
