< FLUID´S FOUNDER >
> Fluid was originally founded in 2006 as a specialist tech and fintech headhunting agency by Jonny Cadden
> In 2015 Jonny decided to establish a global tech / vc summit for his home city, Manchester with no prior event experience.
His vision was to create a SXSW style event to put Manchester on the map for tech and entrepreneurship, driving more investment in to the city.
> He raised venture capital from Scott Fletcher and successfully executed the 2016 event with 2000 delegates, 100 startups in a 2 day pitch battle, 100 speakers, global tech exhibitors, vc´s sponsors (KPMG, Virgin Media, Manchester United, ANS Group). The festival featured international rock bands, rappers and DJ´s performing over the 3 days.
> The event was headlined by Apple Co-Founder Woz (pictured underneath with Jonny en-route to his keynote in a Rolls-Royce).
>Speaker Jeff Hoffman (Priceline co-founder) and Jonny even opened the London Stock Exchange on the first day of the event.
> In 2017 Jonny fell down the Crypto 🐰🕳️ and has not managed to escape.
